Iiiiiit's face time!

I know how you've missed my weekly portraits, but fear not, they're back. If you recognize this lady, it's because I've already drawn her twice before. Luckily, she has an interesting face (I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not, but we'll go with compliment.)

This time I tried my best to stick to my teacher's instructions and not put in details, no matter how I was tempted. He still thought the entire right side of her nose should have been in shadow, even though I distinctly saw that part of it wasn't, but oh well. He generally seemed a lot more pleased with this one, though I didn't do the best job of evening out her skin tone.
For comparison, here are the two portraits I've done of her before, the first one kinda shoddy and the second on not so bad:

As you can see, the head position and lighting are a bit different this most recent time and I think I got the proportions better, but I still like the second one best, despite the meteor hurtling towards her face. Interestingly, she wore the same earrings as the first time she posed for us. That's about the only time I've included earrings, because sometimes the female models wear these big dangly things that drive me nuts. The worst, though, is when they have dangling hair that never stays in the same position after they've come back from a break. Silly live models, wanting to move and whatnot.
