Is anyone else having HUGE problems with posting? As in HTML not working, large chunks of text getting deleted, etc? And I'm writing this all in the little box, not copying and pasting from Word, so it's not that. Le sigh.
Anyway, sorry that the last post was a bit long and there were two polls -- the LJ cut wouldn't work, and when I went back to fix it, it deleted the poll entirely. I also wrote some other stuff after the poll, which I shall try to recreate (as much as my brilliant yet ephemeral with can be recreated):
I myself am conflicted about the use of song lyrics this way, hence the poll. I feel like there's a narrow window of songs that are familiar to enough people to be meaningful yet not overplayed or cliche. I find that they usually don't add much to the fic -- if I don't know the song, I usually just skim over them or skip them entirely. Anyway, this isn't a huge deal -- I may use the results of the poll, or I may not -- and I'm going to post the fic no matter what.
So, yeah, vote in one poll or the other; god knows if LJ will let me see the results anyway.
