Timestamp comment fics (CLOSED)
Okay, so I'm kind of frustrated with myself at the moment. Instead of working on all the fics I need to finish, I started yet another lengthy AU. :oP Anyway, I want to kick my Muse's ass a bit, so I'm going to borrow a meme that ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif){kind=small}
ewinfic did a few weeks ago:
Leave a comment prompt. The prompt should be one of my fics and a time interval.
Examples:
"Fic Title, the next morning"
"Fic Title, three months before"
"Fic Title, two years later"
"Fic Title, in between this event and that event"
I will respond with a comment fic. This is your chance to find out what happened before, or after, or during. My master fic list is here -- go nuts!
IMPORTANT: I will only accept titles and time intervals as prompts, no plot elements. So "Yellow Light, two years later" would be fine, but "Yellow Light, two years later, they buy their first house together" would not. Got it? Also, I'll try to see that everyone who comments gets at least one fic in return, but if you want to give me multiple options to pic from, that's fine!

But Zach’s already back in business mode. “What are we talking here, money wise?”
“I won’t lie to you – this isn’t going to be your primary source of income. But as far as making some good money on the side, with the subscriptions, it should be steady.”
Chris’ heart starts to beat faster at the prospect, but he keeps calm. “So how much is your take?”
“Forty percent of the first month’s subscriptions, since I’ll be fronting the start-up for the site, then twenty-five percent after that.”
“Fifteen percent,” Zach says, his eyes narrowing. Negotiation Zach is kind of hot.
“Twenty-two,” says Karl.
“Eighteen.”
Karl stares Zach in the eye for a long, tense moment… before once again bursting into laughter and offering his hand for a shake. “Eighteen it is. I’ll have my lawyer draw up some papers and I’ll send them for you to look over. Look forward to working with you both.”
They all stand and Chris and Zach shake Karl’s hand, one after the other, and then Karl is out the door, a wide grin still on his face. Zach slowly sits back down and Chris does the same, taking another sip of his coffee. It’s getting cold. “Did, uh… did that just happen?”
“He’s having his lawyer draw up papers,” Zach says, sounding utterly dazed. “All we have to do is fuck on camera once or twice a month. Good money on the side.”
Chris considers this. “Is your coffee cold?”
Zach takes a sip, grimaces. “Uh-huh.”
“Well,” Chris says, “I believe I would like to buy you another cup of that ridiculously expensive coffee. We will sit here and enjoy it, and then we will go home and I’ll fuck you through the mattress.”
A slow smile spreads over Zach’s face. “I believe I’ll accept that offer.”

Even though Karl starts leaking the clips mere hours after the paperwork is signed, it’s another month before Chris and Zach see any money. And when they do, it’s not much – though it’s enough to pay some bills. But they make a few more videos and the numbers on the checks grow bigger each month until one day Zach comes home later than usual, clutching a small stack of papers.
“Floor plans?” Chris asks.
“They’re nothing fancy,” Zach says, blushing a little. “But look – two bedrooms. A washer and dryer. A fucking dishwasher. And central air conditioning in every single unit!”
Chris catches the excited look in Zach’s eyes, which are practically dancing. Chris had graduated from college with dreams of taking Hollywood by storm, commanding millions of dollars per movie, living maybe not in a mansion, but at least in a really luxurious condo. And here he is with his best-friend-slash-lover, getting royalty checks for their porno and practically drooling over floor plans for 1200 square-foot apartments. And he’s ridiculously happy.
