Oh, this is just amazing! Shy vulnerable Zach, awww, and caring gentle Chris are amazing! And this is a very interesting idea for an AU, I really like the concept and where this is going! My favourite bits are Zach's thoughts about Chris, how he notices all the little details, calluses on his fingers from playing the guitar, runner's legs... Love it! Also, oh, the angst! And I wiped away a tear or two at the end, where Zach had difficulties accepting the compliments! And your Chris in this scene was absolutely perfect! Can't wait to see this continued!
