Which was your original OTP?
Actually, even though I started watching X Files first, I didn’t ship Mulder/Scully for reals until after the first movie, so it was Quinn/Wade from Sliders. (BTW, I only count the 3 seasons the show ran on Fox, not the abomination that continued on the Sci Fi channel)(No, I will not call it the Syfy channel)
What would be your ideal scenario for couple three?
Wow, it’s been a while. Okay, so maybe Parker has to go on the run from The Centre for some very compelling reason that I can’t be arsed to think up, and she needs Jarod’s help, and they totally snark and bicker but slowly realize that they ~need~ each other and then totally do it all hot and fugitive-like. I think I started writing a fic like that once.
Which is your favourite moment for couple one?
OMG, so many, I can’t pick! We’ll just go with one from one of my favorite eps, “Beyond the Sea,” after Mulder gets shot and Scully goes apeshit on Boggs: “IF HE DIES BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DID…” Or maybe in the first movie, when Mulder pulls them both out of the ice crater and he passes out juuuuuust as Scully wakes up. Man, I need to watch that again.
How long have you been following couple six?
Since season two, when I started watching. This one’s kind of lame, since the whole point of the show was shipping Jim and Pam, but I’ve got to say, I really like how the show has seen their relationship through instead of breaking them up and putting them back together again and again.
What's the story with eight?
Awww, they’re like the perfect combination of opposites. They balance each other out so well. DAMN YOU, JOSS, DESTROYER OF DREAMS.
Which ship do you prefer, two or four?
Hard to compare, because they’re two very different ships from two very different times in my life. I got more enjoyment out of Remus/Sirius because there’s a whole actual fandom there, but I still have a real soft spot for Quinn/Wade, even though hardly anyone knows what I’m talking about. Yes, I realize that didn’t answer the question.
How do you feel about seven?
Ha ha ha, oh my. Painfully overdue, almost to the point where, if it were real life, I would say there was a time when it would have worked, and that time has passed. But, hey, the show’s still popular, so as my dad likes to say: “It doesn’t matter if the horse is dead; keep loading the wagons.”
Does your affection for nine affect your love of the show?
It’s about 85% of the reason I love the show/movies.
What's a song that reminds you of five?
Hmm, never really had a mental playlist for Monaboyd, which is really a shame. It would be something peppy and slightly dirty – a drinking song about making love to the Loch Ness monster, perhaps.
Have two kissed yet?
That is just really horrible grammar. And yeah, they did once, when an asteroid was about to hit the earth. And then no one ever spoke of it again. (Or maybe they did. Honestly, it’s been so long since I’ve seen it).
Did four have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely?
::sob:: Well, they’re together again, at least. And Tonks is, er, back with her old Hogwarts boyfriend, who also died in the fight with Voldemort and is the real love of her life. I read this great, short fic once where the Marauders met up again in heaven, and they were all kids again, and they punished Peter with a pillow fight and everything was alright again. It was really touching.
If only one could happen, which would you prefer, two or six?
Well, Jim/Pam did happen, and I think I would’ve been more upset if they hadn’t. This meme sure likes the number two.
You have the power to decide the fate of ten. What happens to them?
See: everything I’ve written in the past year and a half. Well, if they’re not gonna get together and shag like bunnies now, let’s say… they fall out of touch, but meet up again when Star Trek XIV is being filmed in fifteen or twenty years. Chris was married but is now divorced; Zach came out, and it was this whole big thing, but nobody cares now. They slowly begin to remember how much fun it was to be around each other and wonder why they stopped hanging out in the first place. One night the entire cast is out drinking and reminiscing, and slowly, one by one, they have to leave to go home, until it’s just Zach and Chris. They’re a little tipsy, but neither one is really drunk, and on a strange impulse, Chris slides over in the booth until he’s resting his head on Zach’s shoulder. It’s kind of silly at first, but Chris just stays there, not moving closer but not moving away, and Zach can’t help pressing his nose into Chris’ hair, just to see if Chris still smells the same. He totally does. Chris chuckles and says “Are you sniffing me?” and Zach pulls back a little guiltily and says “Maybe.” That’s when Chris raises his head, and then their mouths are so close together they’re practically breathing in the same air, and really, they’re too old to be doing something this stupid, but they’re also too old to pretend like it’s nothing, and neither one can remember who makes the first move, but the kiss is soft, hesitant, maybe because they’ve both had years to play it through in their minds, and neither one wants to screw it up. It ends when they’re both smiling too much to really kiss anymore, and Zach pulls out his wallet and pays the tab (and accidentally leaves an 80% tip – Chris will totally give him shit for that later). They go back to Chris’ place without really discussing it, and it’s maybe not as effortless as it would have been if they were younger, but it’s so good, it’s completely worth the wait, because they wouldn’t have appreciated it as much back then, and besides, Chris didn't learn to do that thing with his tongue until like five years ago anyway. The next day, Chris packs a bag, goes to Zach’s place, and never leaves.
I may have given this some thought.

If I could have one thing in the world, I would wish for that. I don't care if that screws other people out of world peace, or if I should really use that wish to help myself, because that is beautiful and SO romantic and the world needs THAT! There's not enough of that! And if there was more of that, everyone would be better off!!! *my heart is melted forever*

This thing Chris does with his tongue...what exactly does he do?!? Though personally, I totally think you should continue that story. Make it a one shot. I will read about 50-some odd year old men attempting sex after years of tension. but I'm in no real place to be making such requests. You got enough on your plate!!
And it wouldn't be so much as the sex, but finding love/happiness after so many years(should be more of that in fandom!)...ok, shutting up now!
