Okay, while I'm trying my damnedest to get some stuff finished, how about a meme?  Because that will surely help my productivity...  Anyway, I saw this on 1lostone's journal when I was going back through some old posts and I thought I'd steal it.

Give me a link to one of my fics and I'll give you a detail that didn't make it into the fic - it could be background canon, deleted material (if I still have it), the music that helped me set the mood or a look into the future - or it could be a question about inspiration, the writing process, research, etc.

Hee hee, this one was allllll about the research. Seriously, I think I spent more time on the Aneros wiki, reading instructions and testimonials, than I did actually writing the fic. Can you imagine the product testing that went into perfecting that design? "So, Bob, how does that thing feel in your ass?" "Well, I'll tell you, I think we've got the right length, but the head could stand to be a little more bulbous." I've never wanted a prostate so badly, just because I was SO CURIOUS.
