I don't think spleens were covered in the waiver.
So aerial yoga. That was a thing that happened. It was pretty neat, but required a great deal of upper body and core strength that I do not possess. Right at the beginning, the teacher announced that it was going to be an "intermediate to advanced" class... which could have been mentioned at some point on the online schedule, when I called to sign up for the class, or when they called me to confirm that I was taking the class. But I made it through, though I couldn't hold some of the postures for very long. I came close to tipping over backward on the first inverted posture, but once I got the hang of it, I wasn't really worried about falling. I was mostly worried about putting my weight on the wrong part of the sling and bruising, say, my spleen.
I don't have any more free aerial classes from the deal I bought, just four regular classes, and I may or may not go back. We'll see. This place is focused more on yoga as exercise, whereas my usual place integrates more of the meditative aspect, and I like that. Also, call me an old fuddy-duddy, but the stripper music in the background kind of harshes my buzz. However, I mentioned some of this to my therapist, and she seemed strangely enthusiastic about me trying a pole-dancing class. I know you don't have to wear the shoes, but have we discussed the part where I have the upper body strength of a baked potato?
Anyway, as promised, I snapped a photo of the merchandise available in the store.

In case the picture is unclear, on the bottom shelf we have (from left to right) in rhinestones: a skull and crossbones, a dollar sign, and the word "Sexy." I did mean to check the prices on them, but quite frankly, it was tiring my arms out just to hold the camera phone at eye level. Baked. Potato.
Still struggling mightily with my Kindle, and the online support is no help -- it's mostly about how to buy things from Amazon, which I probably should have expected. Now I can get Word files to transfer just fine, but PDFs are a mess. I've been downloading some fic from AO3 as .mobi files, which allows me to edit some of the metadata and choose font size, but adds weird characters in some of the spacing in the text. I can do all sorts of things with subscriptions to newspapers and bookmarking and syncing across devices, but I can't edit a title or even delete a file without some computer-based maneuvering.
But I can't complain too much about a device that lets me carry around all my favorite fic. I just worry about what to name my collections in case someone else gets a good look at it. Call me paranoid, but it's a bit hard to explain a 14-part collection called Captain Spanky. ;o)

My dad's kindle is like a decade old (okay probably not THAT old) so I don't think I can help you. Or him, for that matter.
Captain Spanky would be difficult to explain. Spank.

I don't have a Touch Kindle, mine's the old decrepit button pushy kind...so I have no helpful advice. :)
Uhhhhh nor I have any helpful suggestions re: Spanky other than CS. :D

Also, everything's now filed under "Personal Documents," so I think we're safe. ;o)
Kindle
I was having the same problems as you, so i looked around and found that you can't really make the font bigger once its on the kindle (You can do that thing where you use your fingers, but that sucks).
I just copy and paste the story into word. I change the font to "Myriad Pro Light" and set the size to 20 and then save it as a PDF. Then I drag the pdf to my documents file on my kindle. I find that the font is a perfect size for me to read. I know the process is long, but it has saved my eyes.
here's what it looks like:
If you want I can upload some of the stories I've converted for you to test out. Let me know
( also have mine all saved in a collection called "Random Book Samples" But I also keep all my fandom stuff in a file called "Business Expenses", which just shows how paranoid I am)
Re: Kindle
I've decided to name the collection "personal documents." Just like the porn on my computer is in a file labeled "research."

TL;DR i guess....would the Touch be a good investment. Or possibly other portable devices that could house many documents?

Bottom line: I'm very, very happy with my Kindle, both for books and fic.
