JUST MY LUCK IS A GREAT MOVIE AND I LOVED IT BACK WHEN I HAD A CRUSH ON LILO (BEFORE SHE BECAME THE HAGGARD SHELL OF WTF THAT SHE IS NOW), BACK WHEN I STILL HAD NO CLUE WHO THIS "CHRISTOPHER PINE" FELLOW WAS. I REFUSE TO FEEL SHAME.
Even though I did cringe through parts of PD2 (hello embarassement squick), it IS a nice movie for teenage girls, I'd say. (It's a bit over the top in places, but that's just confirming what I just said.) Also, there is totally a great porn fic for it, so that makes that movie better. I have never seen JML though, so my judgement is kind of one sided.
Yes, I freely admit I've seen PD2 multiple times. Even with the bouffant hair and bad accent, young CP is damn sexy. Plus, no thanks to Disney's influence -- the whole bachelorette party complete with a song from Raven (a Disney product at the time), toddlers in attendance (who invites 4-year-olds to a bachelorette party!?! Where were the male strippers), and last but not least, mattress surfing (isn't that supposed to happen on the wedding night?) -- Anne H. and CP had great chemistry together. I agree it's a good movie for young girls -- all the girl power stuff and being true to yourself stuff. Damn, I'm longwinded today. :D
I've never actually made it through PD2, first because of Princess' hair, second because I can't stand to watch the tragic decline of Julie Andrews career for 2 hours. (Why Julie, why?)
See I think Princess Diaries two is less embarrassing! But whenever I watched Just My Luck in my university common room everyone was like, "That's a good movie!" and they'd watch it with me! xDD;
While the fake accent was atrocious in PD2 at least it had Julie Andrews singing to keep you motivated to watch it. Just My Luck I cringed all the way through; had to watch it in small chunks at a time to get through it lol.

JML is mindless at best and cliched as all get out, but enjoyable! Chris is all nerdy and bumbling! And Lohan was still cute.
