Comment to this post, and I will list five things I associate with you, They might make sense or they might be totally random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your LJ (or just add a reply back to me). Other people (including me) can get lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself.

Prolific: Ooh, I'm already flattered! I guess I don't really think of myself as prolific, but that's because I'm comparing myself to people who probably have diagnosable hypergraphia. (Fun fact: did you know
beederiffic can sneeze at a keyboard and 5,000 words come out? It's true!) Or people who take NaNoWriMo seriously. But even though I haven't tallied up this year's word count, it's going to be significant, especially since that count pre-May-2009 was in the zero range (not counting academic papers). So, yeah, I'll claim this one.
Dr. Venture: This, of course, comes from my icon. I don't even know why I picked it as my default -- I guess I thought it was obscure enough to be unique, yet still humorous to fans of turn-of-the-century German literature and Adult Swim alike. Still haven't seen the second half of the Venture Bros. fourth season -- I'll admit, I got uncomfortable when they started routinely playing the pedophile thing for laughs. I will be forever charmed and haunted by the tragic bromance of Henchmen #21 and #24, however.
Academia: Once my bastion, now my arch-nemesis. Sigh... I wish I knew how to quit you.
Hair: I've got a lot of that. Haven't measured it in a while, but it's well over 3 and a half feet -- it stops somewhere around the bottom of the back pockets of my jeans, for reference. Not sure why I thought you'd want my ass as a reference, but there you go. I'll keep growing it as long as it will grow, but it has slowed down considerably, and may have reached the point where necessary trims will have to keep it at this length. People ask me how I manage it, but honestly, it's easy: I shower in the evenings, let it dry over night, and either leave it down, braid it, or put it up in a bun the next morning. If I cut it, I'd have to deal with hair product and blow dryers and flattening irons every morning -- I can't imagine.
Charcoal: This is a relatively new one -- I started taking drawing classes a few weeks ago, and it turns out I'm not so bad with a stick of charcoal. Who knew? I crank out a new masterpiece every Thursday, so stay tuned!
