Top 10 Relationship Words - AWESOME! And screaming for fics :-)

I'm intrigued by the GenY/Boomer thing. There are a lot of articles out right now on the divide between the two populations. Being GenX, I see both sides and find it...fascinating.

I'm right on the cusp of Gen X/Gen Y, and I generally tend to identify with the former... though maybe that's just me trying to be a hipster. ;o) And I don't like being called a "Millennial." Don't know why, but something about that kind of gives me the creeps.

But I was definitely accosted one afternoon, while I was fiddling with my phone while waiting for a friend, by an older man who, completely out of the blue, started asking me, "Why do you do all this Twitter and texting? I just don't understand you people. What's wrong with actually calling someone?" His wife gently led him away before I could come up with a suitable answer about asynchronous communication (that this article actually summed up rather nicely) and the fact that, actually, I was playing Words With Friends with someone two time zones away, and I'd like to see him try to do THAT on his old-timey rotary telemaphone.

Yeah, I'm about the same (as you, I mean -- not Nail Lady). It's not the painting them that I mind -- it's the chipping and the eventually having to take it off and never quite getting all of it and smelling like acetone for a day.
