I GOT DRAGGED INTO THIS FANDOM BY ACCIDENT TOO! I was watching Awkward. when an ad for TW came up with some really good music, so I was persuaded to keep watching. And then I stopped watching TW for awhile because one of my fb friends laughed at me for fulfilling the generational stereotype re: werewolf- or vampire-centric shows/fandoms (which made the fangirly shame even worse D:). Then I got sucked back in by really good fic (see: above).
Imagine my great surprise/pleasure to find that one of my fave STXI/STXI RPF (wow that's a lot of acronyms) authors was part of the madness too!
OKAY, story time over. I don't think you've abused italics here at all! They're practically required for Stiles, haha. I love top-y Stiles. And dirty talking done right. And Stiles thinking way too much/being a little awkward during sex XD. So basically this whole fic :3
But by far my favorite part is that you preserved their snarky banter dynamic, especially since any actual dialogue is sparse.
