Congratulations on your Masters, you UTTER BADASS. I know academia has been a weird, hard, frustrating road but you're so clearly the bee's knees. I'd read that blog if you wrote it.
I'm with you on the AO3 over LJ for posting fic - aside from the lack of community, it does everything you could want fic-wise (alas it's rubbish if you want find a beta for a rare pair, like muggins here does).
