I have no desk -- but I do have a folding table -- or microwave after nearly two years in my apartment.

Most microwaveable things can go in the oven or be heated in a pot stove top. Sure it takes longer, but that's what the internet is for. To take up time!

But microwaveable food is expensive and generally not healty. You should cook for yourself instead.

I have been using my stove creatively. I can "cook" mostly in the sense that the food is warmer when I'm finished with it than it was when I started.

Sometimes I try to cook for myself, but I'm super-lazy. I eat a lot of those frozen dinners-in-a-bag that I can just throw in a pot and heat up.
