Kindle questions

Does anyone with a Kindle Touch know how to change the font size on PDF files once they're loaded on the Kindle?  Because the "Aa" option doesn't pop up on the bottom toolbar.  Actually, the bottom toolbar doesn't pop up at all.  And while I'm at it, is there a way to change the file or author names for personal files you've put on there?

I have an older Kindle and I can't change the font size for pdfs on mine. I usually read them in landscape mode so the text is a readable size - maybe try putting it in landscape mode before you open the pdf?

For changing titles/authors, maybe try calibre? I'm not sure the changes will stick for things like word documents though.

I have the original Kindle. To read the PDFs, I had to change page orientation to landscape.

I had the same problem with naming. I put the author's name right under the title on the Word doc before sending it to the Kindle. Not the best solution, but I'm still experimenting with this.

Download Calibre, it is the best metadata editor and file converter EVAR. I use it all the time with my Reader.

Ha, I didn't even know you COULD put it in landscape mode. Or I knew and I forgot. :oP Someone else recommended Calibre, so I'll give that a shot.

The naming thing seems to work okay if I use Send to Kindle, but I have some files already on there that I would like to rename without having to reload. :oP I'll have to tinker around to see what I can do.
