A) Is there a way to disable anonymous commenting on individual posts?  I found how to do it for my entire journal, and I can screen anon comments, but I can't figure out how to disable them on individual posts.  Of course, all that will probably do is send the spam to another post, but I'd at least like to know if it's possible.

2) Birthday/Christmas coming up and I'd like some new games for the Wii.  I mostly play kids' games like Super Paper Mario and the various incarnations of Kirby, and I love the Lego series.  I like puzzle-type games as well.  Any recommendations would be awesome.

D) Not a question, but a serious headdesk moment I had yesterday.  So I'm helping a student write a cover letter, and she decides she needs another sentence in her first paragraph.  What about?  Oh, nothing in particular, just another sentence.  Then she asks, "Can we go on the internet and find a sentence?"

After blinking many, many times, I say, "I'm sorry, what would you like me to type into Google, I need a sentence?"  Then I slap her pencil down in front of her and say, "WRITE."

I think that is the most persuasive argument against the existence of the internet that I have ever come across.

I didn't think I changed anything recently, I just tried to look up how to change settings on individual posts. Crap! I'll have to fix that.

I AM SO GLAD YOU GOT THE HOME ALONE REFERENCE OMG.

D) What. The mother fuck.... I had that EXACT same *blinkblinkblink-Does-Not-Compute-blink* reaction XD seriously, I know they teach the 'five sentence' method like it's some kind of perfect shining star, but the sentences do need to relate to the topic XD

That seriously sounds like one of those troll-bait questions on Yahoo answers.
Q: "I need another sentence for the intro-paragraph of my cover letter, what should it be?"
A: "You should be sure to mention your cup size; or if you're small breasted, state how short a skirt you're willing to wear to work."

I can't believe I just wrote that, but it's making me snicker too much to delete it...

In response to 2:
I've been REALLY addicted to this game, Critter Forge on Kongregate, but if you're looking for fun, kiddie games I can recommend just about everything on there. Not useful in terms of the gift giving (well, there are a few on there that have micro-transaction related portions you could spend upon, but that can be a dangerous road to travel sometimes >.<.) but worth checking out if you're a fan of the casual game genre.

Lemme know what your screen name is if you decide you like it. Getting started is a bit confusing and not the best design. The time you need the most credits is the time you have the least. But once you get a foothold the amount needed to start out is trivial, so I can happily make a donation to get you going.
