Because I don't have enough to do, I have procured a Kink Bingo card!




I'm eyeing the first row across, the middle column, and maybe the last column if I can figure something out for plushie/furry.  Chris might be getting a teddy bear for his birthday.  And tentacles!  Tentacles seem to be the cool thing to do now, so I may have to do something with that...  Though I'm going to try to do more than just fic this year, see if I can't get one of those multimedia achievements.  Prepare your eyeballs for the best icons MS Paint can make!  And who knows, maybe I'll go crazy and branch out into some of those other fandoms that I swear I was involved in before Pinto ate my brain.

I also signed up for rpf_big_bang again (though I never got any kind of reply to my screened comment -- was I supposed to?)  Don't know what I'm going to write yet.  I think I'm going to start a few things and see what wants to be long enough for a big bang.  Even though pretty much everything I write these days seems to go out of control on me...

I was also Twitter-pressured into starting another thing by 1lostone, littleboycalico, and zjofierose.  Okay, it was sort of inevitable given my recent vacation, but they are still guilty of enabling my plot bunnies on Twitter.  There needs to be a word for that.  Twitnabling?

People who've got plushy/furry kink this year seem to be having great difficulty figuring out what works. ISTR some people posting on the KB Cafe that some ideas they thought would work, involving stuffed animals or characters who are furry (eg Chewbacca), had been shot down by the mods as not fitting the kink.

Actually, I don't know how you'd do 'guns', but the top-left-to-bottom-right diagonal's kinda cool, too. Remember there is some evidence that Chris Pine may have a thing for shoes IRL.

Huh. So, I've pretty much decided that if I had your card I'd be shooting for an X pattern. ;-)

Ooh, and if you're trying for multimedia, don't forget the awesome that is essays and DVD commentaries and rec sets! I love reading people's rec sets! Also picspams! And knitting! And podfic! Have I mentioned I love rec sets? Oh, and IMHO the non-fic text options can be great ways to explore those kinks that work for us as readers but that we haven't really figured out as writers, or aren't interested in writing, you know? An essay on "why kink X works for me as a reader, and here's some fics that do it and are awesome!" qualifies as a fill.
